Abstract
No political and social regime that has ever existed until now has been able to do without technocracy and this is even truer in contemporary society where a government of technicians extends into every social sphere, involving every sphere of existence through digital technologies, artificial intelligence and ever more intelligent algorithms, generating a real short circuit between the “public sphere” and the “private sphere”. Through a real anatomy of technocratic power, Francesco Antonelli reconstructs the genesis of this great political and social project that risks giving life to a real techno-totalitarian society.
