This paper examines the social organisation of Neighbourhood Policing (NP) in England and Wales. Neighbourhood Policing is the name given to the mode of delivery for local policing across all police forces in England and Wales. Following a national implementation plan commenced in 2005, by 2008 every neighbourhood in England and Wales had been assigned their own dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team.
